BioScrew interference screws are clinically equivalent to metal interference screws. Made from poly (L-lactic acid), the screw provides secure fixation of the graft throughout the healing process and gradually dissolves, eventually disappearing. There are three versions of bioabsorbable interference screws in the BioScrew family; BioScrew Style Guardsman® femoral interference screw, BioScrew XtraLok® tibial interference screw, and standard BioScrew interference screw that can be used for femoral and/or tibial surgery.
