Peculiarities:
The steno-costal plate is used in the treatment of chest deformity, and in particular funnel chest deformity (Latin pectus excavatum). The method of treatment with the use of a wall-costal plate is intended
especially for children in the period of growth (when the ribs and costal cartilages are not too pliable and too stiff).
The recommended optimal age for reconstruction is between 12 and 16 years of age. Allows:
