The Synicem KYP system is intended for percutaneous treatment of the vertebral bodies using balloon kyphoplasty.
Balloon kyphoplasty is used in the percutaneous treatment of vertebral fractures to restore the height of the vertebral body (especially in acute cases) or in cases where the use of cement by another method may present a risk of cement extravasation. Synicem KYP cement is recommended for this technique.
